This is a study of the structural potential of FDM 3D printing, which seeks to take advantage of what is, for me, its main specificity: the ability to combine solid elements and &#8220;woven&#8221; areas close to a textile.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2015, I have been teaching at the Beaux-Arts de Paris digital section, as part of training and project monitoring in 3D techniques (3D modelling and scanning, FDM and SLA 3D printing). My personal work combines sculptor and designer approaches, exploring the association between fused deposition 3D printing and parametric 3D modeling in the form of computer code (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/OpenSCAD\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">OpenSCAD<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Graduated from the Beaux Arts de Paris in 2010, I first developed an artistic approach in which I used various media (woodworking, metalworking, video, vector drawing&#8230;) inspired by the fundamental idea of archaeology, namely that the &#8220;meanings&#8221; of an object can be deduced from its form and materials.
