Bascule (Tumble) is a sculpture inspired by rotating devices (mills, propellers …), seesaw (teeter-totter) and a memory of a double pendulum I saw in a scientific exhibition. Double pendulum is an interesting mechanical example, which is sometimes used to illustrate the chaos theory because of its movements unpredictability.

In Bonus collective exhibition, each artist was invited to make a “bonus” piece. In this context, I proposed a small double pendulum.
